Privacy Policy — RentRoll

Effective October 5, 2026

1. Who we are

RentRoll (rental income, expenses and ROI per property for small landlords) is developed by Miber Sistemas LTDA (CNPJ 67.272.059/0001-00), based in Brazil and available worldwide on the Google Play Store, with an optional Premium subscription.

2. What data the app collects

RentRoll works offline. Everything you create — properties, units, tenants, leases, rent payments, expenses and reports — is stored only on your device (using Hive and SharedPreferences). We do not operate a server that receives or stores this content, and we never sell your data.

Data processed by third-party SDKs bundled in the app:

3. Android permissions

4. App lock (biometrics) & documents

RentRoll offers an optional app lock using your device's biometrics (fingerprint/face) or screen PIN. Authentication is performed by Android; the app only receives a success/failure result and never stores or transmits your biometric data.

Reports and statements are generated as PDFs on your device, offline. When you tap share/export, the file goes to Android's standard share sheet and you choose where it goes — nothing is sent automatically. The app does not request access to your contacts, location, or photo library.

Backups. You can export a backup (a .zip file with your data and attachments, such as property photos, documents, inspection photos and receipts) and choose where to save it. Automatic backups are stored only on your device.

Google Drive backup (optional). If you connect your Google account on the Backup screen, the app saves the backup file to a “RentRoll” folder in your own Google Drive, at most once a day and only when something changed, keeping the 15 most recent copies. To do this the app uses Google Sign-In and the drive.file permission, which gives access only to files created by the app itself — it cannot see or read any other file in your Drive. The backup goes straight from your phone to Google; Miber Sistemas does not receive, store or have access to these files or to your email address. You can disconnect at any time on the Backup screen or at myaccount.google.com/permissions; files already in Drive stay there until you delete them. The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Advertising & consent

In regions that require it (the EEA/UK under GDPR, and applicable U.S. states), RentRoll shows a consent request managed by Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before displaying personalized ads. You can review or change your choice at any time in the app's privacy options. Where consent is declined or not required, ads may be non-personalized.

6. Your rights & data deletion

Because your data never leaves your device, you are always in control of it. To delete everything, uninstall the app or use Settings → Apps → RentRoll → Clear data on your device. For data processed by Google (ads/analytics/crashes), you also have rights under the GDPR (access, deletion, objection) and the CCPA/CPRA (including the right to opt out of the “sale/share” of personal information) — exercised through the in-app privacy options and your device's ad-personalization settings. Questions? Contact us (section 9).

7. Children

RentRoll is a financial tool for landlords and is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
